Glutathione is a safe and natural antioxidant present in our body at the time we are born. However, as we grow older, your body's glutathione's supply decreases as it is being used in cell metabolism. Skin whitening is actually just a side-effect of glutathione. How quickly you will see the results will depend on various factors, such as metabolism, skin color, weight, body chemical functioning, and others. Most will see results in as early as one month. For many, the first 3 months' use of regular glutathione use is crucial. The whitening process is gradual and will only start once glutathione builds its foundation (also known as chemistry realignment). It will take a longer time for glutathione taken orally to show results, compared to glutathione given by injections. This is because oral glutathione will first pass the stomach and be broken down by acids, where a significant portion of it will be wasted.
